Independent Designers on Granville Road

Small boutiques showcasing the work of local Hong Kong fashion designers are a way to get something truly unique from Hong Kong.  Take one of these creations home and you can be sure that nobody will have the same, or even recognize it.

These designer boutiques are located mostly in three small shopping malls, two on Granville Road itself and one around the corner into Chatham Road.

Rise Shopping Arcade is actually on Granville Circuit, the small loop of road near the middle of Granville Road. Reach it by turning right into the small signed ally as you come from Nathan Road, it is just before the taxi rank. Although the ally looks small it has some of the most important small designer shops.

At the bottom of the loop is the Park Hotel on one side, and Rise Shopping Arcade, sometimes called Rise Shopping Centre, on the other. Go upstairs to see the tiny funky boutiques that are on offer.

Granville Identity is 4 floors of independent shops mixing outlets for famous brands such as Miss Sixty with KMS and Bed Hed Hair products. The upper floor also has interior design items to give that  unique look to any living space.

Beverly Shopping Centre just around the corner on Chatham Road, together with it's sister in Causeway Bay the Island Beverly opposite SOGO department store, is full of boutiques showcasing both local designers and those from nearby countries such as South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.
